Dear God’s House Family,
We’re excited to announce, beginning June 07, 2020, we will be reopening Sunday services to the public! Many of us have waited with anticipation for this day to arrive and we couldn’t be more thrilled that the day has finally come.
If you are unable, or just not ready to return for gathering in person, we completely understand and support your decision. That’s why, as always, we will continue to broadcast all services live on our website, Youtube, and Facebook.
Although we will be returning to the church building, there will be some differences to how we usually experience a Sunday morning service. For example, we will be restricting capacity to 50% in the auditorium. That is roughly 100 people. Nursery and Children’s Church services will be unavailable until later in the Summer. Also, coffee and donuts will not be served until further down the road. This is in an effort to provide a safe, and more socially distanced, environment.
We understand the desire to hug and shake hands with those we’ve longed to see for these past many weeks. However, we are requesting that everyone continue to practice social distancing until government guidelines say otherwise.
Below are a list of additional things we kindly ask you to abide by if you decide to join us for service.
- Please wash hands upon entering God’s House for a minimum of 20 seconds.
- Please wear a mask while in the church facility.
- Please maintain a distance of 2 seats between you and the party next to you. (Families who are usually in each others company may sit together, but we ask for 2 seats on either side of each party to remain empty.)
Obviously this will be a new process for all of us and we will continue to learn and make adjustments as new information is released in the coming weeks.
None of these changes should distract us from our common purpose. To come and glorify God and seek His guidance and direction for our lives. We should never come into a place of worship looking to be served, but rather, we should come looking to serve. We come looking for ways to give to God and others, not to get from God or others.
We could not be more excited with anticipation of what God is going to do in the coming weeks and months! We KNOW He has huge plans in store and we are dedicated to fulfilling His will and purpose in the earth!
We love you and can’t wait to see you soon.
